This is a really nice top. The crew neck is lower so not tight to the neck. It is eased through the body so not too tight and hits right at the hips. The fabric has a nice slightly nubby feel. I bought both the black and white and the brown and white. I have washed the brown one in regular wash (warm/cold) and it came out fine.

Comfortable and soft to wear. It needs a light iron after washing. I air dried it. No shrinking. I am 5 foot five and 110 pounds. I bought size XS.

bananarepublic.gap.com/Not worth it. The shape is not anything interesting, and the fabric is pretty thin. You might as well buy the $7 Old Navy shirts. (Which actually, I think have a better shape.) But most egregious, the "black and white stripe" is not AT ALL white. It is more of a beigey-pink color with a greenish undertone, and it looks ghastly against my skin. (There is a striped BR dress that is also called "black and white" and reviews complain of the same thing: it's not at all white, yet is made to look pretty close to white in the photos.)
