Gorgeous colour, Fit me perfectly, ENTIRELY see through... What a disappointment. I had several events over the next few months I wanted to wear this for. The few reviews before ours were posted after we ordered, mention the same thing. All it needs is a liner. How is that so hard? Who makes a dress like this and thinks, "yes. Perfect. $200+." BR used to be the full-proof place to buy a quality dress.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I was really disappointed with the quality of this dress. The velvet is very thin, and the lining is also thin and rough, which makes the dress feel and look cheap overall. The diagonal seam across the skirt is oddly placed and not flattering. For the price, I expected much better construction and materials. I wanted to love it because the color is gorgeous. Unfortunately, this is being returned.

Wow! Stunning! Love everything about it. So flattering, the back is gorgeous and the rushing and high neckline in front that opens up to a crisscross in back is perfect. Can't wait to wear this to an elegant holiday party and again to a wedding in March. Fits so much nicer than the reformation dress of similar style. I went with the purple/dove grey color in a size 4. I am 5.5 and 125 lbs and it fits perfectly just like on the model. It comes to my ankles. I will probably wear stick on bra, but as I'm small cheated I could probably go without one in this fabric.

This dress is gorgeous. I wore it to a fall wedding with a leather jacket and received lots of complements. It's soft and very comfortable. While it is velvet, the fabric is on the thinner side. I was ok with this as it didn't make the dress hot. Would highly recommend this dress!
