bananarepublic.gap.com/The torso on these pants…wow. I'm short (5'1") but ordered a regular because petite was out of stock. The high rise literally went up past the bottom of my bra line if I wanted the crotch to be anywhere near that region and not halfway down my thigh. Not really the look I'm going for here. I do have a very short torso, so maybe I'm the problem, but these are Hammer pants. I'm debating trying the petites since they are back in stock but afraid they won't be any better. I love the silhouette of the super wide leg and the fabric is nice, but if you have a short torso they are laughably not gonna work.

I usually love culottes but something is off with the fit of these. I am size 10, pear shaped and purchased a large. The waist is incredibly wide and the crotch is extremely low, halfway down my thighs when the waist was placed at my natural waist. Too bad the fit is so poor though because the material is substantial and soft, very nice!

I did something out of the ordinary by going with the green chain link print. However, I am glad that I did. The print makes the pants stand out and with the flow of the fabric, it makes them quite stylish. The waist is comfortable as well. The yellow color matches the yellow linen BR had a couple of years ago, so needless to say, I paired the pants with the yellow linen blazer and yellow linen polo for additional flare. You should definitely consider the Linen Culottes for your wardrobe! #sweepstakes
