Very nice fit, and the rise is more mid-high, which I prefer over the exaggerated high-rise. Super elegant, flattering and comfortable. I bought 2 pairs in black and brown and was very nervous they would shrink so I washed one pair only first. Very carefully, and gently hand-washed in cold and laid ...flat to dry, and yes, they still shrunk a bit length. They were already borderline in length for my 5'6" height with loafers only, so the tall size would have been better to accommodate the wash shrinkage.
I am 5'3", 118 lbs and usually wear S, or 4P in BR or waist 27. The small petite were perfect…. Until I washed them!!! They shrink a great deal without using a dryer, in fact never put in a dryer. Just know this ahead of time.

Bought these for travel, so I had a nice pair of pants and an alternative to jeans. They fit well, are comfortable, and are made from quality stretch fabric. I was between a small and a medium (6-8 US size) in regular length, but I chose the medium so I could wear them a bit lower on the hips, and the length was better. I am 5'8" with long legs, and the small fits higher at the waist, making the pants a bit too short. I sometimes buy the tall length, but I want to wear these with sneakers, not just higher heels.

I love the colour and it's a nice thick fabric. The legs are wider than I anticipated but I think they look very nice. I'm 5'2" for reference and bought the regular length and as long as I wear heels they're fine. They get more comfortable the longer I wear them.
