I was a bit on edge about this dress reading the comments but once I got it let me tell you I was very satisfied it's comfy, no issues with the material as someone mentioned the length was kind a daring but I got so many compliments, it's loose & free I had to order a smaller size because it fits big an again very comfortable highly recommend dress up or down

I love taffeta and dresses cut like this. I'm petite and bought a small. It has a playful energy and can be dressed up or down. I also think you can wear it with the bow in the front or back and it's very cute.

GET IT! I was hesitant because of some of the comments but the dress looks exactly like the photo. I'm 5'9, normally about a size 12 and I bought this in Large. Yes, it's taffeta but not noisy like some have described. The sleeve are 3/4 length and tapered so they do fit tighter at the cuff then at the arm pit. They're also a bit of a dropped sleeve so the underarm is wider. I would describe the red as "tomato red." It's a warmer, true red with no cool tone to it. This dress is so versatile! Wish I caught it in black, too.

This is a tricky dress an reading all the reviews I was worried It's actually cute had to order a smaller size the first was roomy / big glad I did downsize it's cute fabric is to be expected no problem however you, you can dress it up or down I actually love it will send pics when I wear it for it for a Feb wedding

I love this dress. I bought the red and black. I paired the red with red tights and the black with black tights for monochromatic looks. I also turned the dress around with the bow in the front. So many options.

This is a terrible dress. It's the size of a tent. The Taffeta fabric is also like a tent. The pockets are weird and awkward. The arms are 3/4 length and awkwardly tight at the elbows. It's not worth the price even at half off.

I'm not sure why others give this dress such a low rating based on the fabric. Taffeta is a noisier fabric! It's stiffer, too. This dress is so fun to wear, I got so many compliments and had no issues with the arms being tight. I even wore a white blouse underneath. The pockets are a fun addition. I bought the black but I'd love to get the red too. Overall this is a fun, unique dress!

Material feels like a shower liner. It is SO NOISY, immediately returned. Looks nothing like the photos on.

Xmas is coming, I wanted a fun & comfortable dress/outfit. Tada! This is it. I ordered them yesterday for Black Friday and here it was this morning in front of my door. I got both colours. The red is kind of Ferrari red. Boom perfect intensity. The taffeta has the perfect crisp to give the dress structure and style. I am 5'4'' , 114 pounds with an athletic shape. I took a size Small regular length. The size is perfect. The dress comes down mid thighs. The armscye is low with a dropped down shoulder. So beware not to lift your arms too high while dancing or just one arm at a time to avoid showing your panties. Light mat black leggings would allow more freedom. I wear it with deep dark and opaque black tights and cool dark suede boots with a small heel that are tight on my leg to elongate the leg line (I am short) and bring the focus on the dress not on the bottom. I will try the black one with a white shirt as on the picture. Banana Republic I love you, your designers have talent.
