Comments about Linen Sweetheart Maxi Dress

Absolutely beautiful dress… IF you're small breasted!! I really wanted to keep the dress but I am a 36 DD and bought size 8 (my normal size). Going up a size still would have not solved the problem and would have been too loose elsewhere. If your a size C or smaller, I would for sure buy. Unfortunately I had to return.

I usually wear a size 6 petite sized up to an eight petite after reading the comments. For the record I am 5'2 140 pounds 34D. I was unable to zip this up once I hit my breast area. Fit perfectly everywhere else I think I would have to size up to a 12 to Cover my chest . Very disappointed in not being able to zip it up all the way as if it's perfectly everywhere else. tailoring quality of material styling are all 100% I gave it one less star because of snugness in the chest area.

This dress is completely different from the one pictured on the website. First, if you're looking for white, it is not even close. It is much more oatmeal or beige. Worse, the cut of the dress is not as shown in the photo and video. The skirt is strait cut from the ribcage. There are no pleats as shown in the video. So unless your butt is thinner than your back/ribs (which I think is almost impossible), the body of the dress will cling to your front like saran wrap. It seems like the video was made prior to actually developing the pattern and sewing the dress. The linen is nice -- too bad they wasted it on this cut.

This fits much tighter on me than my other Banana dresses. The tie on the bust unfortunately also does not work if you have a large chest. If you have a straighter build and smaller chest I think this would work well though — fabric was nice!

I normally wear a size 6P at BR and ended up ordering the 8P in both the cream white and the patterned style. The 8P fit perfect so it does run a size small. This felt very snug in the chest (36B), I can see women with larger breasts having an issue. The front is low cut and will show cleavage, going to try double sided tape to see if the fabric will stay up for more modesty. Very cute style for an outing or dinner, cannot wear to the office due to the low cut.

I had high hopes for this sweetheart maxi dress, but I'll be returning it. For reference, I am 5'3" and 145 lbs; the 10P fit my body well and the length was absolutely perfect. However, there were two major issues. First, the color is not a true "Cream White"—it is much darker, more like a linen beige or oatmeal tone. Second, the sweetheart wrap design is much too low-cut. Even when trying to wrap it tightly, it showed far too much cleavage for my comfort. It's a shame because the petite proportions are spot on, but the neckline is simply not modest enough for my liking.

Beautiful dress, lovely color, a bit snug in the breast area. The only complaint is the tie that folds over and ties to the back. It can give a keyhole look if you so desire. Purchased a size 12 which usually gives me some wriggle room, this fitting is exactly, so runs slightly small.

Went by size guide & got P/6. Fits like a glove (am 34D, 26,36.5; 5'3; 130 lbs). Usually am a size 4; so, I'd say dress runs a tad small. But how elegant.
