bananarepublic.gap.com/Someone else said the dress was "baffling"…and they are right. It's too much adjustment shoulder straps, adjusting back straps. It's too much work for a dress that's should be a quick put on and go item. I love the color, but I will be returning.

bananarepublic.gap.com/The color is gorgeous, the fabric felt thick and nice. But the shape and the drape were completely bizarre. Perhaps it is the sort of item that really needs to be ~in motion~ in order to work. I think I should have ordered an XS instead of an S, which might have solved some of the issues I had. But ultimately, I did not want to waste my time on seeing if I could force a dress to work for me. I should also note that I am someone who will always want to wear a bra (even of the dreaded strapless variety), so that was part of my issue here. I think for the right person, this could be a great dress. But for me, I could not imagine a single scenario in which I could wear it without looking like I was wearing a bedsheet.

#Sweepstakes. I really love this dress for summer beach time. Quality material and rich color. I purchased a regular 2 instead of my usual petite 2 because I wanted the extra length. So glad I did. I just had to adjust the straps a bit.
