I really liked the look of this coat but I just could not get a good fit. I'm a size 18 or XXL normally but that size in the coat seemed not just oversized, but way too big. I sized down to an XL and the overall fit was much better but the neck was insanely tight. I would have had to wear it unbuttoned at all times which defeats the purpose of a winter coat for me. Ultimately I returned both. I really wanted to like this coat but something was off with the make of it in regard to sizing.

I am OBSESSED with this coat. Perfectly oversized with a unique popped collar. Get tons of compliments. I have it in gray and navy and I'm obsessed with both I hope they come out with more colors. It does run a size big so size down if you don't want it to be overly oversized

They cannot be serious with the sizing and there must've been an error. An extra extra small would fit a 200 pound woman. The widest part is also around the stomach. Feels the same as an aritzia coat for double the price, and with a lower wool content. So disappointed with this one.

Been wanting to add a long winter jacket in my collection and this was perfect. I went with a Medium like the reviews suggested and it fit perfect. I usually wear Large . I love that it's oversized, slouchy and edgedy . Thought it was going to be heavy and it's not. I am very happy that I purchased this jacket.

gorgeous but way too big

I researched for HOURS trying to find another fully lined, oversized wool coat in this color to no avail. This piece is basically unbeatable. I'm usually a M, and the XS was perfect on me! (5'2', 140 lb)

I'm absolutely in love with this coat. I'm 5'5" and about 140 lbs, and when I went into the Banana Republic store they only had a small left. I was a little nervous about how it would fit, but it turned out to be perfect. It gives that elegant oversized look without feeling too big or bulky. The quality and style are exactly what I was hoping for—it feels polished, timeless, and very "me." I've already received several compliments on it. Definitely one of my favorite purchases from Banana Republic this season.

This is a lovely coat. Extremely cozy - not too heavy, but still warm. Versatile for late fall /winter wear that can be dressed up or down. I agree with other shoppers that it runs large - so be sure to size down. It is just what I was looking for.
