Comments about Braided Italian Leather Fisherman Sandal

These sandals are beautiful and fit true to size, maybe a bit longer and narrower than average. I also noticed that the heel feels a but loose, so it could slip off. I am still going to keep them and I hope I won't get blisters come summer.

Like the previous reviewer, my heel slipped out of the shoe no matter how I tightened the strap. It's a beautiful leather shoe, but the heel design is a problem.

I got this shoe hoping it would become a summer staple. I got my normal size, but something with the heel of the shoe wasn't quite tight enough. As the other reviewer stated, when I walked it slipped off of my heel. No amount of tightening the straps would have helped. Beautiful well-made shoe though. I almost wanted to try a half size down, but it really wasn't a size issue. Returned!

I ordered my normal size 10. They fit but the strap needed more holes to properly adjust and stay on and I have wide ankles. Not worth the full price unless you're ready to be your own cobbler. I added two additional holes to each strap with a leather work needle.

I struggled between 3-4 stars. First, beautiful sandal. Screams quality, class and style. As soon as I opened the box I was met with that high quality leather smell that I don't often experience... now its usually a chemical smell that you have to let "air out". I ordered my usual size 10. The shoe hugged my foot perfectly from front-to-back (but) when I went to take a step, my heel slipped all the way out of the shoe? I tried tightening the strap as much as I could but that didn't help. So very sad to return these sandals. I would give them a try as if you don't experience this slippage, they are a sandal you will have for a long time and will reach for often.
