bananarepublic.gap.com/New favorite pair of shorts. Almost pajama level comfortable, but looks put together and stylish. The linen is good quality, not too thin, holds shape well, doesn't show a bunch of fold lines. Really like the blue shade, refreshingly it's a little more of a true light blue than menswear typically gets, not a greyed out or stone blue, while still subtle enough to go with everything and dress up well. The drawstring disappears entirely when it's tucked in and drawstring + real fly and belt loops is a clutch combo for comfort and personalized fit. Drawstring also looks good untucked for a more casual, beachy look, makes the shorts really versatile. Sizing runs a hair small, but not unusual for Banana. The cut is good for accommodating for a wider hip/butt, no weird pulling or waist gap. I'm really a medium, but grabbed a large for extra comfort and lived-in classic/90's-are-back summer look. I'm happy with the large, medium would also fit if going for a tighter and more professional look. The large definitely fits smaller than large from other brands, which worked out well for an in-between size. Anyone who's a true large might want to size up though.

Im 6'5" 240 athletic build, not slim. 36 inch inseam, size large comes to mid thigh. Must have. 7 inch has a few more colors, I bought the colors that weren't available in 5 inch.

So far so good, these fit true to size and look great for summer. The material is linen so it is light as you would expect but I don't find these see through like some other pairs I have tried.
