I think these are well made and 10/10 comfortable. The red is so fun - I love it! They are a tad long for my 5'3'' height, but doesn't stop me from wearing them.

So many linen pants have little to no shape, and these are modern and the barrel shape is so on trend. I picked up linen pants from Athleta, Quince, J Crew and these from Banana Republic, and by far, these are my favorites. I went back for more. They are going to be my favorite linen casual pants! The only issue I had is that I chose the same size in black and in red, and the red is a bit larger and a shorter inseam than the black. I am still wearing both, but wanted to mention that issue. Nice look and feel, but the waistband is super tight (probably b/c no internal drawstring). Couldn't get the XS over my hip/thigh area. Small overall is almost too big (waistband is loose once on but still tight to pull up). Also frustrating--after I washed these the waistband is very twisted and uncomfortable. We'll see if I can fix it, but it's annoying and poor craftsmanship on pants that cost this much!

Ordered these for the summer and they are perfect. I ordered in both a small and extra small. I'm 5'1' and 114 pounds and the XS fit perfectly. I happened to be with my daughter and she loved them and took the small. It's hard to find wide pants for a small frame that don't look oversized but these fit perfectly and they are so nice and cool for summer nights.

Absolutely obsessed with these pants! The fit is so flattering, they're insanely comfortable, and I've already worn them multiple times this week. Definitely a new favorite - bought them in 3 colors!

Other reviewers are correct that the waist runs small. I had to size up a full size. The chambray color has a decent amount of black in it which kills the summery denim vibe so returned. The vanilla color is more of a light tan than a white... kept the vanilla for now but might return.

I have a pair of the painter pants in the cotton canvas. I ordered the blue chambray linen in the same size and they were too small. The waist doesnt have much stretch. Too bad because the cut is cute and flattering otherwise.

This is a very nice linen pant. The fabric is heavy enough so it doesn't wrinkle to much but still keeps the lightness and cool of linen. It is confortable, cool for the beach and dressy at night with a nice top.
