gap.com/First of all yes it's big but if you down a size it would work , I'm 5'3 & 152lb I purchased the light wash in a 6P I didn't wanted to snug , a relaxed fit , I love them , for me the petite size fit , hit above my knee. Definitely with a nice poplin shirt , and some pumps or high knee boots will rock these shorts.

It looks very different from the pictures and is toooo biggg for me. I don't think it will look good on me even if I exchange it for a smaller size.

I wear an 8 and they fit very loose in the waist and the legs were huge and to the middle of my knees. I don't think a smaller size would change the overall look. I couldn't send them back quick enough.
