I'm not confident I found my perfect fit. But all the sizes were selling out quickly, especially in Tall. When Regular L didn't fit, I tried Tall XL, and I like it well enough that I won't try to return it. I already asked my closest stores and they didn't have a Tall L to compare and exchange for.
Thought I was going to love this, but the linen is so heavy the dress looks and feels like a sack. I was expecting the linen to be light and the overall effect sexy. The dress is anything but. I guess I need to learn to be a better "reader" of BR photos. Now that I look at the photo I can see that t...he dress is stiff and does not hang well. And what season is it for?! It's weigh too heavy for either spring or summer. I guess the reviewers who have liked it wanted something quite different than I did!

The shoulders feel a bit large but the waist is perfect. I ended up keeping the medium over the large because of the shoulders.

This dress one of my favorite,, it's perfect to lounge and can be dressed up for an outdoor evening. Fabric is nice and heavy that supports the shape. I wish BR can make more colours. I am 5.2 in height @ 155 lbs, I bought Large Petite.

Nice dress. Good weight to the linen. A bit scratchy feeling but I'm sure a few wears/washes would help with that. Quite roomy in the bust/shoulder area but I'm hippy and for me the dress was too snug around the butt/hips so will return. Also quite long, which I like; I'm 5'5 so something to consider if you're on the shorter size.

This dress is stunning, I'm short and curvy and it does a beautiful job of skimming curves. Really considering buying a second one so that I have a backup! Oh, to be fair the shoulders go really wide on me but it's linen I figure after a few washes it'll relax and stop clipping out, so heads up if your petite.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I bought this in black last year in XXS as my usual size is a 2. Fit perfectly except for the length! But after hemming it, the dress is fabulous. I gave this lighter dress a 3 rating because the color is much darker than depicted and more like a light kaki. On the website it appears much lighter like a creamy beige. Just doesnt work for me as a blonde Note that you most likely will have to shorten the dress. I shortened my black dress exactly as it was made and it looks great…..no longer grazing the floor. Unfortunately designers tend to design clothes for taller women around 5'8"…. Not at all for the average woman who is much shorter. Would be great if BR offered two lengths!
