- Based on a vintage sample, we borrowed the roll-neck and horizontal stripes of the original, but opted for wider stripes and an oversized fit to make it modern. Crafted in our softest organic cotton.

Great sweater - am looking forward to wearing it Had to size up as the body was a bit odd in comparison to the sleeves.
As others have said, this sweater is short; cropped if you have a long torso. Even wearing a high rise, my midriff was exposed any time I reached. The cotton is thick and soft though— too bad a longer style isn't offered especially for the fall colours when feeling warm and cozy is a factor.

Very comfortable. I LOVE the blue heather color! It's even prettier in person. The fit is deliberately loose. The dropped shoulder seams are very thick, sometimes it feels noticeable, but I still really like the shirt and find it comfy.

One of my favorite things about Banana Republic is that most of their products are natural fibers. I like wool, but if you're looking for a cozy winter sweater that's not itchy, this is the one. I love it so much, I bought it in two colors. It's oversized, but the sizing is pretty forgiving. I'm normally a medium in most fitted clothing, but being short (5'0"), I tend to size down in oversized things. I bought this in an XS and a medium, simply based on what was available after sell-through in the colors I wanted, and I'm super happy with both. If you're on the fence, I say go for it.

It looks good, but the yarn splits into thin threads, and the thin threads snag without much provocation, and create large loops of hanging thread.

I absolutely love this sweater—it's my favorite right now. The fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, and it keeps the perfect temperature: warm without feeling too hot. It's truly the perfect go-to sweater. I do wish it came in more colors, although this one has beautiful shades that pair easily with just about anything. I'd definitely buy it again!

I am a size medium but sometimes size up for length or to fit my muscular shoulders. I bought 3 of these sweaters, some in size medium and 1 in large, they all look good. Don't be afraid to side up or down- they all look great! These sweaters look so cute with corduroy pants!
