- We borrowed the silhouette of a men's trouser and reimagined it in premium denim woven from cotton and hemp. Featuring a high rise with a straight fit through the hip and thigh, and a tapered leg that’s a nod to 90s-inspired denim.

Genuinely high-rise (sits at actual waist, above hips). Genuine old school trouser style taper and drape. Denim is mid-weight with a nicely textured finish. Real leather patch on the back which is increasingly rare these days. Overall the quality and construction is solid. At 5'11" and 170 lbs (a...thletic build), size 31 was perfect.
BR used to have great quality but there has been a massive drop-off in the past few years. These jeans were tight in the waist and extremely baggy in the legs, practically clown jeans. The fabric felt cheap. I have 3-4 year old pairs of BR jeans that I have worn countless times that are in better co...ndition than these new jeans. However is making these jeans now, please fire them, and go back to the old manufacturer.

I carefully followed the wash instructions, but for some odd reason, the leathers ink came off; This happened to multiple pants of this type/style. I had to remove the tag to hopefully prevent further damage.

I've found banana republic jeans to be of good quality, nice feel, and they tend to fit my shape properly. Perhaps another brand for a different body type, but these do well by me.

These looked suave but are sooo scratchy! I was like "wait, is there wool in these?? Well at least they'll be good in winter" but then checked and no, it was the hemp. I did some research and know that hemp doesn't have to feel so pokey. So, I have a feeling maybe it's not the highest quality hemp. I'm hoping a few washes works this out otherwise I can't really wear them.
