The jacket is very well made and is a thicker shearling. It is a jacket that has heft to it. I'm 6'4" tall and 260, the Xl is a bit big around the stomach/waist and short on the arms, yet even without being a perfect fit, it's the perfect jacket for me. It will keep you warm, and keep the compliments coming.

It's oversized and awesome. The material, craftsmanship and look are exceptional. I have been kicking around the idea of picking this up for a while and I a definitely glad I finally did.

Like I said, it's like wearing a great big teddy bear's hug. You'll wear it out of the house thinking maybe it's a bit too much, but you'll quickly find out that it's just right. It's not often that I get stopped for compliments, but this coat trends high for positive attention. I'm a little frustrated with how the left pocket sets inside the coat, but it hasn't stopped me yet. Double-plus good.

Great coat with great quality but it's cut more like robe! I'm 6'4" about 210 and I ordered a Large. It swallows me. Looks like I'm wearing my dads coat. The bulk is fine and length is good. I'm going to return and try a Medium but I doubt it will work.

This by far the most expensive thing I've ever bought at Banana Republic. For the price, it should come with a couple of sweaters and air of jeans as accessories. That said, this is the best quality shearling I've ever purchased. Its warm, the leather is oh so supple... and the shearling wool is so luxurious. It does fit on the larger size, but I think Shearlings should be oversized anyway... plus room for seaters, etc. Recommend the coat... but the price is like a kick to the nards.

Received Feb 24, 2022. Delivery excellent. It is an oversize, heavy, WINTER jacket to be worn in temps below 30F/-1C. i am female, generous 6', 140lbs, long arms, slender. I purchased small, good fit for me with sleeves long enough (typical problem for me). Jacket is loose fitting to accommodate bulky clothing. Sheepskin and zipper seem durable. i am satisfied customer. no complaints. I would say excellent but i don't have qualifications to say excellent.

I purchased this jacket with a discount so It was more than half off. It is premium quality. It's an oversized jacket, you can order a size below for a slimmer fit.
