They fit super well and have a nice stretch. I just got the black and navy ones. I would recommend these ones over the rapid movement tapered!
Fits more like a tapered pant than an athletic fit. It's very tight at the calf and ankle, and not nearly as loose at the thigh as expected.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I've been buying Banana Republic Mason Athletic Fit chinos consistently every year for the past 5 years, and the Athletic Italian-Stretch Chino is a dramatic step down in quality. These are nowhere near the same tier of product. The fabric hand feel is noticeably inferior right out of the package. It feels cheaper, less substantial, and far less refined than the Mason chinos I've relied on for work. Worse, these pants pile far too quickly and stretch out much more than they should, which makes them look sloppy after very little wear. I cannot wear these to work the way I did the Mason chinos, because they simply do not hold their shape or present well enough. What used to feel like a polished, dependable wardrobe staple now feels like a watered-down imitation made to lower standards. Honestly, I'm amazed at all the other incredibly positive reviews, because my experience has been the complete opposite. This is a one-star product, and it reflects a broader and very disappointing decline in Banana Republic's quality. The constant degrading of quality has been unsatisfactory and not worth the hassle. This is the last time I'd buy stuff at Banana Republic.
