- We're recreating a vintage piece from the BR archives, maintaining the clip hardware from the original and reaching for a rugged cotton twill for fabric. We finished it with a garment wash for lived-in color and softness and lined the body in soft, cotton flannel for warmth.

I just got this in store in the green colour. Stunning coat with great hardware and detail. The lining and details are superb. Cannot wait to enjoy it this fall!
I originally purchased this in an XXS as my other coats from BR run very big, but I found this one was too snug in the hip area so I returned it for an XS and the fit is much better. The colors on both the green and yellow version are not nearly as vibrant in person so make sure you're aware of that... before purchasing. I got this jacket on a really good sale but I don't think it's worth the original price tag. The fit is a little strange but it has a nice weight to it for sure and feels like it will last a long time.. it's just that the quality is definitely not as impeccable as some of the other outerwear pieces I've purchased from BR in recent years.

I am 5 1" and 105 lbs the small fit quite well and would allow for a sweater if needed. The jacket is a good design and should be perfect for fall and some winter temperatures. I appreciate that the warmth is a result of a full lining and substantial weight of the good quality and attractive color of the denim.

Sized down to a small ( usually medium) and still plenty of room if had to wear a sweater underneath. Great design and closure is fantastic looking- such a different look!

I've also been looking for a jacket with pockets that are like these where you can slide in your hands and store things from the top without being afraid to lose them. Amazing. I'm sad I miss the yellow but please consider bringing back with a navy or some vibrant colors.

bananarepublic.gap.com/Please revisit quality control for this product. There was a one-inch difference in length between the two front panels of the coat. The inside lining was badly sewn - very poor workmanship. Also, the collar was warped. Considering the price point, the coat should not have even left the factory with the issues I noticed on it. I love BR products; usually the cut and sewing are really nice on most clothes, but this was a huge disappointment.
