The material is nice and thick, but not too heavy they can't be worn in the summer. The cut is also excellent; I have larger thighs and usually wear an athletic fit but this style fits even better and cuts a better figure #sweepstakes

Cut is generous in the seat and crotch, so there aren't weird stretch lines, I usually prefer the slim cut the straight cut looks good too

bananarepublic.gap.com/I took a gamble on these and I couldn't be happier. I'm a big guy with an athletic build (6'2" 240lbs.) and these fit great (38x34). The leg is trim, but not too slim, and the fabric quality and construction is top notch. I will definitely be buying more.
