If you are thinking about getting these velvet pants, get them!!! I'm 5'0 and bought a size 6 in the black.These pants I don't need to hem or cut they fit like a glove with wiggle room. Pairs perfectly with heels!
They are very short - I'm only 5'6 and the regular hit just above my ankle. They are also a little on the small side, but I think if I sized up they'd be loose (and maybe hit my ankel). Disappointing because love the fabric and the leg.

Make sure you pay attention to the inseam length. I didn't -- just assumed based on the picture that this would be floor length in flats (sure looks like it would be!), but these were high-ankle length on me (I'm 5'6"). The fabric is nice, but the mid-rise is more low-rise and the flare was so pronounced that it had a very shortened-navy-pants feel about it. Completely unflattering on me, and I returned them.
