The sizing of this shirt is horrendous. It's so short it's practically a crop top. The colour is nice but it fits like it was made in petite sizing and not for someone with an average torso

This reminds me a lot of shirts from my days as a young millennial. The good is that it's 100% cotton. The bad is that it's quite short and small around the shoulders. (I have a long torso and broad shoulders, so this era of clothing was a bit traumatic for me.) Recently I have been taking a small in BR (tall but size 6), but I ordered the medium in this and I might exchange for the large or even XL to see if it fits better on the shoulders and in length. I was a bit worried about how poopy the brown color looked online, but I like it in person; it's kind of rosy.

I love that this is 100% cotton! I keep my clothes a long time and have found that ones with spandex mixed in lose their shape over time. It's a slim fit that comes just past my belly button. I often wear a small in these days of size inflation, but I ordered a medium and it fits well, like shirts from the 90s. If you like a roomier fit, though, definitely size up one from your old size or two from your modern size. (In contrast, I took a small in the relaxed cotton boat-neck, and it was still much, much roomier than this medium.) 5'9", 28" waist, 18" shoulders
