The material is pretty good but I am not sure how good that is if you can't wear it. It is just odd the way it fits, I am more on the smaller breast side and curvy, normally I wear 2 or 4P, ordered 8P and it is a little tight in the hips area, it looks a little see through though so you need a inner slip, the breast area is low. Hard to believe the model is wearing a size 2 and it looks so lose on her. Something should have happened with the correct sizes.

The dress is my proper size and is made of good materials but the ties across the front are NOT designed at all whatsoever to cross and overlap in the front. No matter what you do they will never be able to lay flat and one side will be rolled up and weird (you can see this in the model). This could have EASILY been fixed with a minor adjustment or two but they decided to sell it knowing it would look like a hot mess. Even for the sales price it's not worth it because to wear it I will need to pay for someone to do the adjustments that should have happened before this hit stores. I'm not surprised they aren't taking returns on this, it's probably on sale for high returns. This will likely be my last banana republic purchase.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I typically run between a 10 and 12. The size 12 fit perfectly. I was nervous it wouldn't work for me since I am a 34DD/155lbs. While the sweetheart wraparound neckline showcased the bust, I had to wear a good bra and do my own minor tailoring. I added interior sleeve ties to secure those to my bra straps, along with a bust hook-and-eye closure so the front would stay in place for comfort and overall peace of mind. It's a good dress once those adjustments were made, but because it lacks those functional, fine details out of the box, I could only justify buying it at the sale price.

I love the adjustable sash and the cut is perfect as well as the length. Will be my go to for special events this summer!
