This is a lovely linen dress, but as with many BR dresses, the shoulder to waist measurement is long when ordering bigger sizes. Would sure like to see a plus petite option in dresses and blazers! I've had to return most dresses for this reason.
The linen is very good quality, and I loved the olive color. However, as someone else pointed out, it really needs a zipper. I ordered my size and one size larger. My usual size fit my body very nicely, but I needed help to take it off. I just cannot keep something I need help getting out of! The la...rger size would have needed so many alterations that it was not worth keeping.

Beautiful dress made of heavy linen. The bodice is poorly cut though. The medium was a bit too tight so I bought the large online which gaps at the arm holes. I will have to get it professionally tailored.

A pretty dress, something different with the bold stripes. Yes this could use a zipper like others have mentioned but still easily wearable once you get arms through. I'm 5'3" 128 pounds and got a small petite. Hits at a good length but think regular length would have worked too.

I was so excited to finally order this dress only to be disappointed when it arrived. The print seemed more subdued online. The green striped fabric reminded me of table cloths my grandmother had on their picnic table. The fit didn't change my mind. I found the fabric too heavy to gently sway like on the video of the model. This one is going back! Sorry Banana Republic. This one is a miss for me.

The cut of this dress is a perfect A-line silhouette. Very comfortable to wear, but also feminine enough to feel pretty. I love the quality of the linen fabric for summer. I wore it with the BR linen wrap cardigan in the evening when the weather was cooler.

gap.com/The website photos of the striped dress show much more muted colors. In reality the colors are way too bright and the red is too dark. I'm usually size M, ordered S and while the chest fits great it is huge at the waist. Also, no zipper so be prepared to roll it over your head.
