I'm 5'8", size 12ish and a large hits mid calf on me. Definitely not maxi/ankle length for everyone. The fabric is a rather delicate knit. Im worried this will snag easily or wear quickly over time. The colors are beautiful and muted, very desert sunset vibes. Very feminine and fun, great for summer. #sweepstakes

bananarepublic.gap.com/I am 4'11, around 96 lbs and bought a size XXS in straight sizing (not petite). The dress is very form-fitting and just reaches the tops of my feet. It doesn't drag on the ground, but looks better and is more comfortable with heels. I saw this dress all over my feed on TikTok and ran to buy it as many sizes were selling out. I had some gift cards saved, so I did not pay full price, but I would have been so willing to do so! Material is very thick and somewhat heavy, so I recommend folding the dress and storing it in a drawer rather than hanging it up to prevent stretching. Colors are so vibrant and beautiful. If your size is still in stock, buy while you still can!

bananarepublic.gap.com/Probably my favorite dress ever and I'm going to wear it too much. I'm 5'5" 130 lbs and got the xs regular. When I first put it on I thought it was too small in the chest but then it stretched both length and widthwise within 5 minutes and was perfect. Length is a true maxi on me, see photo. My advice is leave it on for 10 minutes when trying it on and see how it ends up adapting to your body. If I had taken it off right away and ordered a size small it would have ended up being too big. Worth the price for the amazing material!

gap.com/Ordered reg sizes XS and S. I am 5'2, 110# athletic build. Size XS fit upper body snug, length was just above ankles. Size S upper body way too loose, hem grazed the floor. About 3 1/4" difference in length. Colors are vibrant. Material is a thin(almost see through) knit. Price point is too high, even on sale.
