I really wanted to like this. But I can't do the paper bag like waist line. I have a short torso and this style is not as flattering on me. The 10 was tight and the 12 was slightly loose. Loved the style and length. The fabric and construction was nice. Just not for me.

Fits perfect and love the colour. It will be perfect to wear for Spring. Bought the Petite 4, which is a good length. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it came SUPER wrinkled, I will be steaming or ironing this skirt for a long time to get it crisp haha!

Quite flatteryOther than the look, I bought the skirt primarily for the advertised side seam pockets which don't exist which is a deal breaker. Walk around a lot at work and pockets are a must have for my cell. Oddly the other reviewer did not comment on this.

bananarepublic.gap.com/The fabric has a nice weight and has extra fabric sewn into the bottom hem. The asymmetric pleating around the high waist gives interest. There is a short slip underneath, not long enough to sit on. The skirt is high waisted and flattering. One odd thing is there is some sort of slit/opening in the back that isn't stitched down—a strong wind could expose the wearer from the back. I will figure out a way to hold this closed better. I'll make the color work because the styling and fabric quality is so great, I think the tan color is definitely in the baby poop category. Overall I recommend!
