I like the fit of these pants! They are true to size. The zipper with the back elastic makes them fit perfectly. I really hope BR brings these exact same pants back next year in full length!
I expected some wrinkling because they're linen but these pants completely lost their shape within minutes of wearing them. By the end of the day they were stretched out so badly they looked oversized and sloppy honestly more like clown pants than premium linen trousers. For the price I expected str...ucture quality and fabric that would at least hold its fit for a few hours. The knees bagged out, the seat sagged and the legs became wider and wider as I wore them. No amount of steaming or careful washing fixed the problem. Instead of looking relaxed and elegant they looked cheap, stretched and unflattering. These are massively overpriced for the quality. There is a big difference between natural linen wrinkles and fabric that completely collapses and loses all shape. If you are spending serious money expecting a polished high end look, save yourself the disappointment and buy from another brand. I didnt even want to give one star.

But they are a little tight in the hips, which has never been an issue for me with BR. The waist is fine and even a bit loose. The size zipper is very tight and difficult to get up, especially because there is no waistband to hold on to (why is that an improvement? To make it more difficult to tuck shirts in?). They do not look like flares so much as somewhere between straight and wide. Odd cut, an attempt at novelty poorly executed.

I like the idea of these linen pants, interesting cuff, neutral colour, however the linen is coarse and stretches immediately not maintaining its original form. I returned the pants.

I bought these linen pants last week, and I absolutely love them! They are comfortable, lightweight, breathable, and incredibly soft. I feel confident every time I wear them, and I've received so many compliments on how perfectly they fit. The price was very reasonable, especially since I got them at 40% off, plus an additional 20% discount at checkout. I also want to give a special shoutout to Kristina, the sales associate at Banana Republic in Yorkdale. She was impressive, incredibly helpful, and very patient while showing me different sizes and product options. Her excellent customer service made the shopping experience even better. My only suggestion is that I wish they offered more color choices. Other than that, I highly recommend these linen pants!
