bananarepublic.gap.com/This peplum top is crisp and polished for work or casual wear. The brown is quite dark, nearly black in appearance. I have a similar BR peplum top from last spring in pink that has an adjustable 2-snap back tab. This year's top has elastic so it's not as adjustable for waist size/comfort. I bought a S which is slightly large overall but not so much that I need to size down. This style top is full by design so the arms are quite wide. You can roll the sleeves a bit to create a more slim arm appearance. I would not wear this top with the jeans and sneakers I have on in the photos. 34B, 28"waist, 37"hip

bananarepublic.gap.com/This is a beautiful shirt, nice fabric, cool and interesting, looks like an expensive designer style. But can't keep it unfortunately. The "cream white" color is darker than I expected, kind of an ecru shade, which is nice but I was looking for something closer to white, for that "crisp white shirt" look. Also I really needed a petite size, thought I'd take a chance on regular size but it just doesn't work. Shoulders and sleeves are proportioned way too big for me. So if you're tall, go for it. I don't think a shorter person can carry off this shirt.

Nice fabric but not a fully thought out style. The pleats don't look neat and should have been made differently to lie properly against the body. This is a difficult style to do correctly for mass market and it misses the mark.
