So yes this dress is fitted so if you're in between sizes go up. That said, it's stunning as well as flattering. The color is definitely an ivory that leans yellow vs white. No bra needed which is a plus and I'm a 36C.

The top part is too small. It's very close for me even with a size 4 and banana republic usually fits big on me. The material is thick which I don't like. Too thick for a summer dress.. plus the ruched part at the top makes the top part fits weird.. don't like that it so tight that the bottom part shows if you carry any weight below your waist. Unfortunately time past to return., I wouldn't recommend

I had the exact same problem as another reviewer—broken zipper! Also, this dress runs very tight in the bodice. The dress I ordered appears to have come from a store because it was wrapped in tissue paper and not the plastic factory packaging. I have to wonder if it was damaged by someone trying to squeeze into it. I would say the bodice runs 1-2 sizes too small, especially if you have a large bust and/or are more of an apple or banana shape instead of a pear. I am 5'7", 140 lbs, 34DDD. I usually wear a medium or size 8 in BR but even if the zipper weren't broken I do not think I could have zipped this without struggling. And now the sale is over, and BR doesn't do exchanges online. Sigh.
