The skirt is gorgeous. I am 5'4" and 135 lbs. the small fit perfectly with no alterations needed. The linen has a nice thickness but still very pliable and soft. I wear thin bike shorts underneath for an added layer, which do not show at all with the high side slits. Really pleased and the matching sleeveless top is gorgeous.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I almost feel like we were talking about 2 different skirts. The skirt I received was a thicker no see thru fabric that was so heavy it did not flow properly when walking. The slits were perfect but in the photo it looked like a lighter gauze versus a very heavy tablecloth linen. I loved the cut of the dress but not the fabric. Sadly I will return although I think BR is trying to find the right fabric as we speak. Somewhere between a heavy gauze and the tablecloth linen would be perfect and loved by many

It is beyond see-through to the point where I have to return it…I wish so badly I could keep it but there is no way I can keep a skirt that (even when wearing nude underwear) is completely sheer.

I love this skirt even though it is a bit see through (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). It's flowy and just pretty. The black color made the skirt look too heavy.

Well I Thought I would be in love with this skirt but we just didn't hit it off, my go to is long maxi skirts year round. I am 5 feet tall, size 14/16, with large hips and a smaller waist. I purchased the white in a Large petite. The length of this skirt was perfect and the slits on the side were nicely placed only showing the occasional glimpse of my calves as I walked. The linen was disappointing compared to previous years, being a bit thin and see through and the line around the lower hips caused the upper part of the skirt to look bulky and make me look heavier than I am. It did not give me that beautiful Spanish look I was hoping for. This may look very nice on a more slim figure who is looking to add width at the hips.

bananarepublic.gap.com/This skirt is super feminine and perfect for summer. The biggest draw back though is the fact that it is unlined, which makes it very revealing in the sun. I like it alot so will try to get an underskirt slip to see if/how it helps.
