The weave is chunky and the cardigan is a solid weight. It is useful during the hot summer months when you need something over your shoulders in a restaurant or at an event where the air conditioning is on. I am 5'11' and the arm length is long enough for me, but I can see that it may be long for smaller women. My only wish is that the body of the sweater was longer for my height,

I love the versatility of this. I bought it because I love the feel of the soft cotton knit against my skin, and how versatile it is: wear it with a bandeau top, crop top, over dresses… It's a heavier knit but the open work makes it work for various seasons.

Very cute with shorts or pants. Like the tie-front cardigan but at my age I would not wear a cropped tank underneath. I wear a full length tank and it looks good but not as nice as in the image online with the cropped. The cardigan stretches out when it is washed.
