Ordered these for the summer and they are perfect. I ordered in both a small and extra small. I'm 5'1' and 114 pounds and the XS fit perfectly. I happened to be with my daughter and she loved them and took the small. It's hard to find wide pants for a small frame that don't look oversized but these fit perfectly and they are so nice and cool for summer nights.

Absolutely obsessed with these pants! The fit is so flattering, they're insanely comfortable, and I've already worn them multiple times this week. Definitely a new favorite - bought them in 3 colors!

Other reviewers are correct that the waist runs small. I had to size up a full size. The chambray color has a decent amount of black in it which kills the summery denim vibe so returned. The vanilla color is more of a light tan than a white... kept the vanilla for now but might return.

I have a pair of the painter pants in the cotton canvas. I ordered the blue chambray linen in the same size and they were too small. The waist doesnt have much stretch. Too bad because the cut is cute and flattering otherwise.

This is a very nice linen pant. The fabric is heavy enough so it doesn't wrinkle to much but still keeps the lightness and cool of linen. It is confortable, cool for the beach and dressy at night with a nice top.

Lightweight linen in a modern, slightly barrel shape. I love these on my petite frame (5'2") because the cut and length look polished as opposed to styles with wider legs. These can be dressed up or down; either way, they come across as easy and effortless. Some reviews mentioned an elastic waist band that is tough to get over hips. It does require a little easing into, but my usual size M fit well.

I absolutely love these pants I was a bit hesitant to order them after reading some reviews complaining about the fit of the waist. I did not find it difficult to pull the pants up at all. They fit perfectly and the chambray blue is beautiful. Looking forward to wearing these in the warmer weather.

How cute are these! Wide leg semi cropped with a slight barrel style leg, but not overly exaggerated as some pants I have seen lately. The color is yummy, a warm olive/brown. I ordered a small and medium because some people complained of the waist being to tight, but I found my usual size small fit perfectly, sent back the medium without trying on. Having said that, the waist could have been a bit looser, definitely not uncomfortable and the band has a decent amount of give, but the medium would have been too loose. The regular length is just above my ankle, just about where they show on the model...for reference I am 5'7" with average length legs,123 lbs.
