I didn't purchase this belt. I acquired it—somewhere between a desert trading post and a well-lit Banana Republic. The embossed leather tells a story it refuses to fully explain. There are patterns here that suggest horseback negotiations, late-afternoon sun, and a man who knows when to leave town. The leather is substantial, confident, and entirely uninterested in trends. This belt has seen trends come and go. It remained. The buckle—clean, restrained, unapologetically western—does not ask for attention. It receives it. Loop it through denim and you've made a statement. Loop it through tailored trousers and you've started a conversation you may not finish. It doesn't squeak. It doesn't apologize. It sits at the waist like it was always meant to be there, quietly reminding the rest of your outfit to behave itself. I would trust this belt with a secret.

Overall quality of this belt is far below what one would expect from BR. Plan on returning this.

I like the design and quality of the leather. The metal buckle and the metal tip lack shine and don't look luxurious. So this belt would look ok with jeans, but wouldn't work with more dressy pants

I have plenty of belts........woven leather, stretch golf belts and solid leather belts in various styles in black and brown. Then I saw this silver tipped belt in one of Banana Republic's ads. The model was wearing it in a photo for a shirt, but had this belt on his pants. I immediately knew I had to have it. It really spices up my belt collection, giving it a classy casual look. Best of all, compared to similar belts on the market, the price is very reasonable.

Thick leather, good buckle quality. I wish it was pebbled rather than embossed leather though.
