bananarepublic.gap.com/This is a heavy, warm, well-structured staple piece. It has a more casual vibe (military jacket style but feminine and ultra soft) but it can still be dressed up or down. I have worn this with boyfriend cut crop jeans and tennis shoes, but also with with BR sloan pants and loafers to work. It can stretch a bit by the end of the day, so I sized down for a loose but more tailored look. I received this sweater with pills (clearly a return), but kept it (last XS) and after care it was perfect. I am so tired of people complaining on here about their new cashmere pilling. This is a natural part of cashmere and every new sweater will pill, even those with the longest cashmere fibers. If you take care of it with a cashmere comb, rest between wears, and the right washing routine, BR cashmere is amazing and will last years. If not, I am happy to buy your once worn cashmere on Thredup or Poshmark for 10% retail and spend an hour making it perfect again :)

bananarepublic.gap.com/Comments about Marled Cashmere-Merino Blend Cardigan
I LOVE the marled colors of this, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to make it work. It looks frumpy on me like on the model, I think because the armholes are cut low and the body short. That combo makes it look wide. I am also worried about how soft the wool is, since usually soft means pilling. For an outerwear cardigan like this, I'd much prefer an unwashed wool with its lanolin still intact, like the old Norwegian sweater I have. Sure it's scratchier but I'm not wearing it against my skin. But probably most consumers are uneducated about this and would complain that it's scratchy!
