I had such high hopes for this dress. Unfortunately, when I finally got my hands on one, BR sent a dress that someone else had worn and still smelled like her. The amount of makeup on the collar and the matted cuffs spoke to the reality of its use as well. I was appalled and quickly returned the used dress. This is the first time this has occurred and I pray it will be the last.

Unfortunately, I had to return it, they missed the mark on this dress, if only they didn't make the piece of material with the safety pin, the dress itself was pretty; had they made the hanging piece even it would have been fabulous.

I bought this dress in charcoal grey for the office. I wear it with black leather boots with heels or with a pair of high cut brown suede Chelsea's depending on the look I want. I changed the oversize safety pin for a hand made broche bought on Etsy. I am 5'4'' I weight 114 pounds and the size S Petite fits perfectly. The regular length would have been too long. Wash by hand and before laying flat to dry, stretch the waist elastic a few times to improve the fit. Good quality for the price and simple elegance for the office. Lovely medium weight knit. I love it.

I am 5 foot 8.5" and weigh 150 pounds with a long torso, the medium fit like a dream. I agree with the other reviewers that it probably isn't great for short gals but for taller women it is perfect. The fabric is heavy and feels high quality. I did end up putting in a couple of darts because the piece that overlaps the front flared out a bit too much for my liking but it was an easy fix.

Material is cozy. Fit overall wasn't bad but the elastic band across my waist felt very snug. The top wasn't draping like I wanted to. Would have loved to try the medium but it was sold out.
