Description is inaccurate, this is a maxi dress, not a midi. The fit on the upper torso is odd. Tbh I can't see how anyone wears this without some tape strategically placed. On the up side, material is loose, long, and slowly, will keep cool in hot weather.

bananarepublic.gap.com/The linen fabric of this dress is way too light for the design. It is also challenging to put on for those with broader shoulders. BR's summer of 2021 linen was heavy and draped very well. This is very light linen which is great for the beach or a very humid environment. However, you will have to sacrifice a good drape and flow over your body. I returned the dress because of the difficulty in putting on (there should have been a hook closure for the neck or back instead of having to pull both over the head or hips) and the poor drape. This seemed much more like one of those other retailer's linens instead of the quality I've come to enjoy from BR.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I original bought this dress to get free shipping on another item I wanted, and I figured I needed a new dress for an upcoming wedding so why not just try it out. I wasn't planning on keeping the item, but I ended up really loving it. The fabric has some imperfections (but my understanding is that linen is just that way) and the stitching is a bit messy in some places, so I don't really think it's worth the full price cost. I love the coral color, though, and the cut is really flattering.
