Love, love , love this shirt! I usually wear an XL but other reviews suggested it ran large do I ordered a L and it was perfect. It's a heavier denim shirt but the length and sleeve length were exactly right.
The guy was great but the material was extremely stiff. I returned it as I could not wash it to see if the stiffness would come out

Denim is heavier weight so not for summer. I found the fit flattering and to my surprise I liked the snap closure. Now I have to try the denim with denim look!

bananarepublic.gap.com/Denim is heavier weight but that's ok (just not for warm weather). I purchased XS (5.2, 124 lbs) - the fit is great for me. These days I am anywhere from a SM to XXS in BR and it's always a gamble! I did think the color was more black than denim blue, but I'm ok with that too. I will keep as it's a nice casual top that can be worn many ways (although I am NOT that person who will wear it as a jacket.) I just washed it before wearing and it can go right from dryer to hangar - no ironing required if you that's what you want.

Although I like the fabric and the fit, the last three snaps on this shirt don't say stay snapped. They were defective. I had to add my own snaps to keep the shirt shut. For an otherwise quality item, this is a significant defect. I am not used to this kind of issue with banana republic goods, so I was surprised and disappointed
