Descriptive review because I was looking for one when I ordered!! I'm 5'7" with an athletic build and big butt/hips - a 'classic' figure, you could say! The sizing because of the elastic band is 'between sizes' as is the length for somebody my height. I ordered a Tall because of some of the comment...s, and found that they're actually far too long and was hoping for a ~slight~ crop as you can see on the model. Also sized up as was recommended from the other reviews. What I will say is that if you, like me, are between sizes, size down. These are certainly bigger at the waist and because of the fabric there is a lot of give. I will likely end up getting these altered if they don't shrink with first wash.
After washing these, they do not look presentable. the seams look off. it does not fold flat. The length also got shorter. I got the regular length and my inseam is 27". I followed care instructions, they still do not look like how they were when i first got them. They're now going to be my fancy P...Js.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I actually bought my 1st pair of these 2nd hand. Liked them enough to buy more colors. These are a heavier material so not so much a summer pant. I wish they would have offered these in more colors!? winter white/cream and a dark grey! The material is thick enough that it no doubt would NOT be a problem in lighter colors (see though) as happens at times. Maybe Fall/Winter this year? Hopefully!

love the pant! Easy to pull on. I ordered a size small regular. I am petite, but I wanted them a bit longer. I'm 5'3 and 125 lbs but fairly muscular. The fabric is nice and thick so it's been warm for the spring weather. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the fabric attracts pet hair like crazy b
