For fabric, we reached for our Siena Italian wool—a customer favorite for its all-weather weight and hint of stretch.

Previously ordered my usual size 2 (5'5", 125 lbs) and they fit okay -a bit big around waist. Bought a size 0, which fit much better. They are very high-waisted though. If you don't like this style, may find them a bit snug. I prefer fit of the modern slim ankle pants. (I NEVER fit into a size 0 - s...ize 2 is always a perfect fit). Disappointed in BR sizing on these. Overall, good quality pants though, and love the matching grey blazer.
I also ordered the lightweight wool blazer, but these pants appear to be a thinner material. My usual size 2 (I am 5'5", 125 lbs) fits weird - too big around my waist, so they sit lower. Sizing down would make them too tight. Straight leg isn't the most flattering fit with a lower rise. I am only ke...eping them because they match the blazer and will need to get them tailored. Disappointed in recent BR pant sizing - fit used to be accurate and perfect.

bananarepublic.gap.com/previously purchased the Siena Straight Italian Wool Pant from BR last year and fell in love with the fit and especially the inseam (36 inch) as a 6'0 180lb curvy woman. I considered this pant as I figured it was an updated version. I ordered a size 10 Long and the inseam is sadly not long enough (feels like a 34 inch). I think the pant itself is lovely and well constructed but I wish 1. I did not have to now let the hem out 2. had an option to try on long sizes in store 3. could see a rerelease of the Siena Straight Italian Wool Pant.

bananarepublic.gap.com/HORRIBLE fiddly tiny waist hooks (two miniatures vs one large) so you have the pleasure of extra time to perfectly align the micro size first hook, then it is commonly unhooked when attempting to hook the second micro. What iwas wrong with a large single hook at the waistband? Is this intended to add an element of frustration to the simple act of putting ones pants on???? Why? Plus there are unlined so I enjoy adding legging to the process.
