For fabric, we reached for our Siena Italian wool—a customer favorite for its all-weather weight and hint of stretch.

I have these in brown and navy, in a petite 4 (I'm 5'3" and 125 pounds). The navy fits perfect, love them and wear them at least once a week year round (I live in Toronto). They're elegant, super flattering, and I'm so glad I bought them. I also have these in the brown, but they fit baggy instead of... elegant and I never reach for them as a result. Super disappointing but love the navy so much I still gave these four stars.
I also ordered the lightweight wool blazer, but these pants appear to be a thinner material. My usual size 2 (I am 5'5", 125 lbs) fits weird - too big around my waist, so they sit lower. Sizing down would make them too tight. Straight leg isn't the most flattering fit with a lower rise. I am only ke...eping them because they match the blazer and will need to get them tailored. Disappointed in recent BR pant sizing - fit used to be accurate and perfect.

I bought this pant for work and I absolutely love it! I had to size down more than I expected to get the right fit at the waist, but the length was still perfect even at the smaller size. You can tell by the feel that these pants are high quality. They're fairly lightweight but not thin. The blue is so dark it's almost black but it is still blue in the day light. I will definitely buy another pair in the cream and maybe the black too. If they made a slightly lighter blue color I would get those as well. #sweepstakes

bananarepublic.gap.com/Nice lightweight wool. I dont like the addition of stretch, though (bring back 100% wool pants, please). Also, these are not a true long. I'm 5'7 and could wear these with a kitten heel to brush the floor. Fabric wrinkles easily, and I find the pockets protrude, but that could be based on my shape. These are obably better for those that carry less weight in the thighs / hips.

I bought my light grey pair in late 2024 and they are true to size, and the charcoal grey that I recently bought in March 2026 fit looser and much more high waisted than the light grey. I will likely have to get the charcoal pair tailored as I've already worn them and can't exchange for a smaller size. Love these pants overall but I'm disappointed that the fit is inconsistent.

A petite like me (5'2.5, 115lbs, bought reg 0), an inch can make or break the clothing item, so I figured this could help someone else out. Undecided if I'm returning yet.
