I read the reviews about the quality, and I don't agree. I bought The Bay's cashmere sweaters and they're paper thin. I returned them. Banana always offers great quality when it comes to cashmere sweaters. I didn't find this sweater to be too thin. I bought the hot pink. The colour is different from... what you see online. When you receive it, it's more neon pink, but it's gorgeous. In the neon pink, it's not see-through. I love this sweater.
I examined this sweater in store. The colours are as vibrant as pictured. Feeling the material between my fingertips, it is soft and not itchy. The low-ply yarn makes it lightweight. However, the knit is loose, which makes the sweater somewhat sheer, less warm, susceptible to faster degradation from... abrasion, and more likely to snag than a tight knit. I confirmed the loose knit on three different colours. I did not try the sweater on and passed on it.

Fabric is so soft and lovely. Size is perfect. I wasn't sure about the color but it is fine. I do notice that this sweater is a little shorter than the same ones I bought a year or even 4 months ago but that is actually a good thing! #sweepstakes

I ordered three sweaters in blue in a size medium because I wanted a more relaxed look and I wanted to give one to my sister. However, the sweater pills so much after just a short period of time. It was ridiculous. I have to say I agree with other customers who said it looked like an old sweater by the end of the day. Very disappointed. I returned two. Wish I could return the third. For BR I would expect better quality.

This sweater was even better than I expected! It is so nice and soft and not bulky at all and yet it kept me cozy (with a little t-shirt on underneath). What I like most about it is the detail on the hem of the waist and wrist- it has a lovely stitching that elevates the sweater from a simple crewneck to a statement piece. I also loved the color which was like a pumpkin shade. I just ordered it in another shade. Happy customer over here!

Excellent classic, cashmere staple. BR makes lovely cashmere. My only grumble is that it still does not come in NAVY. Please make it in navy blue!
