They don't make them like they use to when it comes to material but still a good shirt. I'm 6 ft 170 pounds and their tall version fits me perfectly after a few washes. Becomes a "fitted" t shirt where it hugs my arms and chest slightly and I bought these knowing that to begin with. You need to size up for a loose easy fit. At 6ft I can't wear any BR regular fit t shirts, one accidental dryer cycle and they become to short.

Banana Republic has very great fitting, high-quality shirts. I bought the tall size and it fits perfect (I'm 182cm, for reference). They haven't faded with a few washes and are my everyday-wear shirts.

The BR Supima T-shirt was my favorite go-to for years. When I recently ordered some replacements I was disappointed to find that they have "improved" them into oblivion. The v-neck style is gone. Around the sleeves there is a heavy, obvious stitching that made them seem, to me, more casual (if that is a thing for t-shirts) and less versatile. The material is now light and stretchy (instead of the soft but heavy feel of the originals... most likely to save cost)... they have added the "cuts" on the side of the waist, and the waist has that slight elastic squeeze feel. It seems like they are aiming to style these more like the luxury touch shirts, instead of giving you two different options. I'm guessing they will "merge" these two lines eventually. Anyway, the BR Supima Tee you loved is dead... I recommend looking elsewhere.

Perfect for lounging around

I bought 4 shirts in September, then 4 in March. They are the same size - according to BR. However, they are not. 4 of the shirts are about 1.5-2 inches shorter than the others. These shorter shirts constantly come untucked. I was not expecting the cuts to be different considering they are all identifies as the same size and manufactured in the same place, according to the labels. Because I wore them, I cannot return them. But BR should offer to exchange them. This is ridiculous. They should all be the same size. I would not have bought more if I knew they would be cut shorter.

The color on these shirts are quite faded . The black looks as though they've been washed out . I've been wearing these BR 100% cotton Supima Tshirts for years and love the fit and quality but the colors particularly the black and navy have been very inconsistent. I'd never buy online for this very reason , but as BR has closed so many stores I've been forced to do so and as a result it's a gamble as to which quality with re: to color of shirt i receive. Now , at the sale price of $18 maybe I can let this slide but if these were sold at full retail I'd have a hard time justifying buying a brand new Tshirt that looks like it's been washed 100 times .
