This shirt has a nice texture. The corduroy is very fine and the vertical stripes have a different, smooth, texture that makes for a lot of nice variation overall. I am 6'3" and find that Banana Republic tall size shirts fit better than any other brands. This shirt is a "standard fit" though, which makes it kind of boxy. I wish they sold more slim fit shirts in tall sizes.

The weight is delightful, soft and fluid unlike a lot of these stiff and boxy shirts. Definitely recommend, great purchase
