I love everything about this coat! I've been searching for a wool wrap coat with rounded shoulders and this one fits the bill perfectly. At 5'8", I like that it's a bit on the longer side, hitting mid calf instead of just below the knee like a lot of winter coats. The material is great for cold wint...er days. I purchased an XS and it looks great open or belted, draping beautifully. It was pricey, but I'm so happy with my purchase!
I was so fooled to think that due to this coat's material content (91% wool and 6% cashmere) I'd be getting a quality coat, but boy was I wrong. This coat arrived wrinkled and light as paper. It's extremely thin and the belt does practically nothing to keep the coat closed. Despite this coat being a...dvertised as wool, the look and feel is reminiscent of polyester fleece - cheap, thin, wrinkled, and with an unnatural sheen to the fabric. For the price-point I would have expected more - this is going back to the store immediately.

I usually size up in coats to leave room for a sweater. This one is already oversized and I ended up with my usual size. I wish there was a button in addition to the tie.

bananarepublic.gap.com/Love the color (golden tan), fabric & length of this coat. Settled on M P for a good fit, but ultimately, had to return b/c tried it on with most of my winter outfits and the rounded shoulders just didn't work for my frame (34D, 26, 36.5; 5'3"; 130 lbs). Too bad, for the price & features mentioned above were attractive

bananarepublic.gap.com/I tried this coat based on the overwhelming number of positive responses. I bought the blue coat, colour was lovely . The cut was firm across my back but oversized around torso. I wanted to layer with a medium size sweater, it was too tight and I am not broad. It did not feel comfortable and the cut was just off. The styling was unappealing. For reference I'm I'm 5,6", 123 lbs, I returned the coat immediately. Sizing up would not have worked. In my opinion it was not TTS, fell small. I do not recommend.

I don't like that the lining of the pockets is cotton! It feels thin and I can imagine these pockets wearing through fast. I just was disappointed that the same material as the lining was not used for the pockets. Also, I went in-store today and saw a couple of these in the blue and pilling at the collar. In didn't inspect it though, I just saw it hanging there all pilled like that. I haven't worn mine yet, and I'm worried that I will need to buy a lint shaver now in case mine does pill. Or maybe I'll return it.

I purchased this coat in Blue Catamaran & Golden Brown. I bought the Small Petite. For reference I am 5'2, size 4/6 and 27/28. The coat is slightly oversized, which is exactly what I was looking for. I can wear bulky items and the coat still fits perfectly in the shoulders and arms, which sometimes can be an issue bc I am fairly muscular for my petite size. I wear this coat over everything, dress clothes/jeans/activewear. It elevates every look. It is also very warm without being "too much." The recent cold snap here in the Midwest has seen temps in the low teens. My only complaint is the belt is fairly thick, making it almost impossible to tie in any cute fashion other than a "normal" tie. I think this coat would be FABULOUS in a Goldenrod yellow. BR - please make that happen!

bananarepublic.gap.com/The fabric and blue catamaran color were gorgeous, but the tailoring is atrocious. Without a shoulder seam, this just hangs like a bulky bath robe. Why, WHY did BR not opt for a more structured design for such heavy fabric? It's like they put zero thought into the construction of this cot and it's such a shame. It could've been a great piece but it was an immediate return once I put it on.
