This coat checks all the boxes for being both stylish and practical. I always look for natural materials over plastic and this coat stood out amongst the polyester options out there by being 69% wool. The natural wool adds a layer of warmth that plastic fibres simply do not. The quality seems the...re but I took off a star for not having a replacement button sewn in the hem. For this price, I would expect the extra button. One button arrived slightly loose and fell off after a month of use. Luckily it wasn't lost so I could see the same button back on but I would have been disappointed to have lost one without an identical back-up.
I went to the store to try and buy the coat, but it turned to be fitting poorly with showers just hanging down. It is not a classic design but rather a trendy cropped oversized one with bulky sleeves. You can do better, Banana Republic, some things need to stay timeless and classy instead of running... for a short trend.

I usually order a small - but based on other reviews I got an XS. It still looks oversized on me and I'm glad I went with XS.

I normally wear a size large, but ordered size medium. It fits me perfectly. I am 5'2" and it is not overwhelming or boxy. The fabric is soft, strong, and warm. It is nicely lined, and very well made. I just know it will be one of my fav jackets! The circumference of my jacket is 48 inches, and the length is 25 inches from center neck to bottom hem. Quality piece that will be very wearable!

I studied the reviews and ordered it in XS and the size was right. I am 5'6" and 135 lbs and the XS was the right size for me. The coat looked cropped in the photos, but it fit really well and landed right at my waist so it doesn't look too cropped and the sleeves were not too long on me. The coat doesn't feel heavy to me despite how thick it is. It'll go nicely with jeans. The reason for the 4 stars is that while it looks exactly as pictured, irl the collar looks too wide and big. I wish there was an option to lift it up and button it which would've still made the coat look so chic, but it's a minor issue. All in all, if you can get the coat in the right size, it's at a great price.

Love this peacoat! It fits very nice and it is made well. It gives luxury vibes. It is warm and stylish. The cut is a bit cropped which makes the look sexy and feminine. This is a high quality coat. I bought it in black. I love the yellow one but it just doesn't go with the colors I usually wear so black it is. The reviews say they are running large and I usually wear S to M so I risked and ordered XS and it fits perfectly. I am 5' 5", 131 lb, wide hips (40 in) , bust measurement 34.
