It has an urban, simple design and the material is thick and nice. I think it would be great to wear in the middle of winter.
I had similar dress from small store and was so excited to have this amazing color but when I received it I found bulky shapeless sleeves! The fabric is a bit thick which adds to actual unlikable shape ! I reteruned it next day.

bananarepublic.gap.com/Make sure you size down. I normally wear a large as I'm 5'6, curvy shape weighing in at 190 lbs. and should have ordered a medium. Since I bought the dress on sale, it was easier to tailor split the sides, taper the waist and make it into a long tunic. Now, I can at least wear it !

Quality of the dress and corduroy fabric are good; however, sizing runs so large and result is a shapeless style. Usually a medium, I sized down to small based on reviews, and it was still very big. Tried with a belt and did not help. Usually love all BR, but this was a miss for me and was final sale. #sweepstakes

Nice color but doesn't do any favors to improve your overall look. Shapeless, all closed in on the side, too stiff. Really wanted to work but it's a hard pass.
