12" high waisted in front maybe a little high, but I've waited a long time for high waisted jeans to come back into vogue. They differ in material weight and length by wash. The black jean isn't what I'd call denim, but I love them all
My usual 29 Long fit well around the waist. But as other commenters have noted, the jeans bag from mid butt down and are not particularly flattering in my view. These are not really "straight" in my view. I wish BR would bring back the Stacked Bootcut style as I find them flattering. Also, 33" is no...t "long" in my view, but I am reconciled that this is the norm although there are some styles with 34" inseam. As for 30" linen pants - don't get me started! I don't want to deliberately look like I can't find pants long enough. So why three stars even? Kudos for longer styles. I like the dark blue rinse. The jeans are OK.

Great pair of jeans! I love the fit and fabric! I have had an account for many years, and love, love, love, the traditional, never out-of-style clothing. Also love the designs of the timeless, traditional, classic clothing. I will soon be 65 and will always go for the classic, traditional clothes every time. I don't like to put my body on display, and believe the classic will always overshadow any displays of indiscretion of what body parts are covered or or on display. It's the grace and respectability of a woman that makes them beautiful! With some help with your classic clothing!

I really like these jeans. Wish there was a bit of stretch so the waist is more forgiving, but I'm assuming it will release over time after a few wears. I like the high waist for my long torso. I'm 5'7", 165, size 12

Does not smash your bum like other straight jeans. Lots of waist room while still giving you a nice side silhouette. Very comfy. Hefty weight without being heavy. If your hips tend to go out to the side rather than out back, this may not be the jean for you.

I was admiring a jean outfit my daughter wore and she told me to look at Banana Republic for a great selection and fit. So I ordered a pair that was on sale (in black), the fit is amazing, so comfortable, the length is great as well. I can wear these without any alterations! Got these on sale - great find! They fit perfectly, and what I really like is the length - I don't like ankle length unless they are skinny jeans - I think they look like flood pants when the leg is a bit wide. Haven't washed them yet, but I hope they hold the colour. I always wash inside out in cold water, so they should be fine.

Perfect fit as the high rise works as the waist size for my body shape and the regular length and hips fit just right. Very comfortable. I have 3 pair aleady in different washes and I just ordered the Stone Wash color.
