12" high waisted in front maybe a little high, but I've waited a long time for high waisted jeans to come back into vogue. They differ in material weight and length by wash. The black jean isn't what I'd call denim, but I love them all
I bought this in petite sizing (25) and the rise is so high that it comes up to my lower ribs and 2 inches below the bra strap line. I purchased other high-rise jeans earlier this year in the same size and the rise on this pair was about 4 inches higher.

The material these are made of is really nice and lovely. The fit is not, I guess I wanted my straight jean to be slimmer, those fit more like stovepipe jeans and they were big in the knee. Well made of course as all BR products. They fit right in the waist and hips - true to size, just too big all the way down the legs.

Extremely different, I thought they sent the right item but apparently it's correct according to customer service. So disappointed because I love the fit but I needed the light color!
