Comments about Italian Leather Alpine Boot
Lovely design, per the reviews I went up a full size. I'm usually a 7.5-8, went with a 9 and it's perfect. Very stiff leather but hopefully loosens with time. Great value with sale price. Don't think they'd be worth full price.

This is my second purchase, this time for my friend. She loved the boots when she saw me wearing them, so I ordered her these. I got the black ones; both colors look great.

bananarepublic.gap.com/All the stars are for the stylishness, otherwise, spare yourself. I went up a full size for fit based on previous reviews - that was the correct choice to make. I made sure to be wearing the exact socks I would be using with these boots when I tried them on, and I had to remove, adjust, re-lace, futz with the leather tongue, and re-tie until they were on without any parts jabbing directly into my foot. Then I walked around the house, sat for a bit, then walked around again. And they dig into the back of my heel in a way that makes me willing to give up the nuclear codes. Alas, despite ALL the incredible stylishness, they will be returned. Dr Martins have never been this evil to my comfort.

These boots are so beautiful, the leather is gorgeous. This shoe is well put together and I love the idea of two sets of strings. I'm an 8 1/2. They did not have my shoe size in the store; the sales associate assisted with me ordering a pair online. I did order a size 9. Normally in boots I am a size 8 or 9. I am a boot person so because of the type of leather and the style of the boot I thought it was in my best interest to get a size bigger. The shoe fits perfectly fine and it is comfortable. Normally with booze, I am an eight or a nine I chose to go a size up with these because of the type of leather they are. They fit perfectly fine and they're very comfortable.

bananarepublic.gap.com/These boots are gorgeous and beautifully made. I ordered both colors and still can't decide (and may just end up keeping both!) I am normally a 6-6.5 and followed the advice of other reviewers to size up "at least one whole size" so I initially ordered a 7.5. Well, they were huge! So I then ordered the 7 and the 6.5…and they both fit! I literally can not tell the difference between the two sizes either fit-wise or visually. Very weird!

bananarepublic.gap.com/As others have said, the sizing of these boots is really off. I'm normally between a 6-6.5 and followed those who advised to order at least a size up, so I initially ordered the 7.5 and they were huge. I then ordered the 7 and 6.5 and…I swear they fit nearly identically. I honestly don't see a difference when comparing them visually either. So both the 7 and 6.5 fit me. Go figure!

bananarepublic.gap.com/Omg, I love these boots to walk in NYC. It goes with everything, I can style with sweaters or sweatshirts, so versatile. You can change the lace, love both colors. The only consideration: you need size up and it will be alright even with wool socks.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I'm typically a size 9 or 9.5 if the shoe runs small. I tried a 9 in a store and they felt too short so I ordered a 9.5 online and they felt like they were the same size as the 9. I returned them and ordered a 10 which I never wear. Well guess what…they fit exactly the way the 9 and 9.5 fit. Too short! I've never felt so gaslit by a shoe size before. Not sure if they're slapping different sizes on the same exact shoe but I'm really disappointed. The boot is really nice. Great look and feels like high quality leather. I guess I'm giving up after 3 tries to find the right size.
