- Cute jeans. We borrowed some tailored elements from a pair of vintage trousers (like the pockets and pleated front), but kept the fit slouchy and low on the hips. Cut from certified regenerative cotton and washed for lived-in softness.
- Mid-Rise Loose: Mid-Rise, with a slouchy fit through the hips, loose through the thigh with a wide leg. Ankle length.

Lovely drape of the denim and great button up style. Had to get in both the dark blue and the black wash as it's so hard to find nice jeans that fit and have style. Dress up or wear with a cropped sweater. Very comfortable thru the hips & waist. I went down one size.
The fabric is very pleasant to wear: not too thin and not too thick. The cut is interesting and different... but the sizing is completely off! I always take size 29 regular. These pants measure 34 inches at the waist. There's a problem. They're going back.( 2 stars because of the nice fabric)

These are very cute jeans, and the fabric is nice quality. I ordered one size smaller and long length based upon other reviews, and I'm so glad I did becuase the fit perfectly. I love the button fly. To be honest, I don't think they'd have looked as good on me if they were the regular length, which was shorter than standard length. Overall, they are a fabulous new addition to my closet.

bananarepublic.gap.com/true to size. meant to be worn as a mid-rise jean so the top of the waistband sits below the actual waist and will measure larger across than a true waist measurement. these looked pretty unflattering on me but I can't put my finger on why. something about the pleats was off and I usually like pleat-front trousers. material in dark blue was soft and a nice deep color. returned.

The quality is great, which makes it even more disappointing, but they were just way too large and had to be returned. For reference, I'm 5'1" and 122 lbs.

Not sure what happened with quality control, but if your normal size doesn't work, you might want to reorder in your normal size and try again! Love the button fly and ankle length. Very cute, very comfortable!

Got 2 sizes smaller. Tried 1 size smaller but felt it was too big. I find the regular length slightly on the short side. Length is ok when you are standing but when you sit down it creeps up your leg a lot which looks very silly. So I prefer to wear it with boots to avoid showing skin. Tried the long version but it just becomes a more regular baggy jeans, returning that one.
