Love the fit, drape of these jeans. Definitely a heavy fabric so not really a summer jean. Sizing note: jeans at BR and Gap have run small for about 2 years now. My old size 29 jeans from BR are side by side the same size as a size 30 from BR now. So just keep that in mine when you purchase, you mig...ht be sizing up even if you haven't changed in size. Also I wish the lengths would be updated: a regular is too short for me, long is too long so I end up buying long and having them shortened which is an extra expense I wish I didn't have to add in.
Bought these jeans and had some from last fall that were wide as well. Banana Republic completely ruined the long length as it's barely a 33" inseam. L in e many leggy tall women I need at least a 35 " and especially with a wide leg where you want an elegant flowing look they should be long. I feel ...so sad and am shocked that Banana Republic would shorten their long so short women don't need to hem while we tall women simply cacti purchase. Please add the extra length so we can be customers. If you did it across the board as in regular and tall you wouldn't have 5'6" and 5'7" needing to buy a long length and you would also capture the taller customer as you did previously.

I purchased 31 long. I'm 5'10" 185, they are verrrry high waisted but comfortable and flattering, even if they are a little long (regular length Is just too short for me). I did have to send my first pair back due to the zipper already stuck in the middle when I received them. I do also have another pair in white!

black fit is tighter than other colors in the same size (e.g. super bloom 28 while black 29)

Love these jeans! I just wish the sizes between the colors were consistent. My lightest pair I'm a 27 and my darker pairs I'm a 29, my typical size is 28.

I have owned hundreds of jeans by all brands/designers and I've never seen denim do this after one wash. They are so beyond hard and wrinkled I can't wear them anymore. This happened to the black and dark blue washes… I have the light wash as well but too scared to wear them because I'll need to wash them. If anyone has any suggestions please share! Sucks these were a one time wear,

The fit was good but I have never seen such heavy weight denim used in apparel. It looked very comfortable to wear. And I can't imagine wearing them in warmer temperatures.

bananarepublic.gap.com/I bought these in the lighter gray color in my usual size 27. They're the most flattering jeans I've ever owned. Slim through the hips and thighs but a true wide leg. I usually prefer cotton denim without lyocell, but it works well for these so I'll make an exception. One note - the fit varies by fabric/color. The faded black version fits a bit smaller but I would still take a 27. Useful for people to note which wash they bought in their reviews.
